Hi! I'm Leo and I'm a fourth year student studying French and Arabic at the University of Oxford. Having worked as with school-age children for 4 years, I'm used to creating educational and enjoyable content for all ages. I've always loved studying languages, and French grammar has always been of particular interest to me. My degree is heavily literature-focused, and this means I have a very broad range of resources to draw on, from all over the Francophone world.
I also study phraseology and French and Arabic language and translation, so love helping students to render their usage of French (or Arabic) more idiomatic and natural. Oral presentations can often feel daunting, but this is the area of language I actually enjoy the most! I would very happily cater especially to students worried about this aspect.
I always start my lessons with a starter activity to get my students into the swing of things, before addressing a particular area of grammar or language. I like to ask students what they are struggling with in particular, so that I can target my lessons to what they feel they need to work on the most.
Having sat a great many exams up until this point, I'm also very happy to help students get more used to preparing for public examinations, and am of course happy to give any advice on applying to university/Oxbridge! Please send me a message if you're interested, I'd be more than happy to have a chat, and would love to offer any help I can!
