A basic lesson will consist of a simple starter and a talk with the student to lay out the ground work of there understanding of the lesson today and where they might struggle and also to get there head Into the lesson. I’ll Alwasy try keep it not to hard and also for them to have an enjoyable time. I make sure I am never rude, arrogant or pushy to the student and always want to firstly have fun and learn. We will then go through the lesson very closely to how it would be taught inside a classroom. Completing basic activities focusing around the subject as-well as involving the student in basic knowledge checks. Around the half way point if the lesson I will allow the student to have a little breather by participating in possibly a history themed kahoot or Amon those lines to ensure that they are still focused and maintaining the learning but also having a little fun and a break. And then finally the final run of the lesson will be guided reading/watching where I will interpret them through a subject specific source/video because I Alwasy found this a key part in my intake of history. I Alwasy recalled to a certain video or a book that we read in my revision of a topic. And at the end of the lesson we would complete a quick questionnaire on how this lesson went and what should our preferences be for next time and obviously the one rule is stuck by is to have fun while learning
