My methods revolve completely around what you, the student want to achieve. The first session is always about just a friendly and informal chat about what your goals exactly are. Are we preparing for an exam? Or just refreshing some knowledge from years ago, perhaps you only want to learn programming out of interest? I can plan fun and engaging sessions no matter what, taking into account your availability, how much free time you have to practice and other factors.
I teach in a project oriented manner, which means we will learn a new topic/concept, then we will create a little app/program that uses that new topic, by this you get to see a practical application while also building on previous topics that we covered.
