Hello, my name is Nadia, I was born and raised in Germany and moved to the UK about two years ago.

MY QUALIFICATIONS

-Written and spoken fluency in both English and German

-2:1 degree in English and History from a Georg- August University Goettingen (Germany)
- Currently finishing a Masters in International Education with Keele university

- Experiences as Classroom assistant and Online Language Tutor with secondary school students

INFORMATION ABOUT THE FIRST LESSON

In your first lesson, we will talk about your personal goals, whether you just want to learn German for fun or have an upcoming German exam to pass. I will then assess your German proficiency in order to structure the ideal plan for your upcoming lessons.

HOW I WILL TEACH

- 1 to 1 lessons online on Zoom
- At any age or level
- Primary focus on conversation to learn how to speak naturally like a native speaker
- Introduction to Colloquialisms
- Grammar, Reading, Listening Comprehension (depending on what is required)
- Lessons about German culture to truly understand the German mind and know more about it than the common stereotypes portrayed in movies
-Help with homework
- Exam preparation
- Usage of multimedia resources: videos, podcasts, music, interactive language tools for learning vocabulary, online games, digital whiteboards, power point presentations, padlet

I am very passionate about learning and teaching languages, and would love to share that passion with you. While studying a new language can sometimes be boring or even intimidating, I am certain that with the right teacher and the right methods it can actually be quite fun!
