In my lessons, I emphasise a collaborative and adaptive approach tailored to individual needs. Drawing on extensive experience in coaching and training across various professional settings, I focus on building skills through practical exercises and interactive discussions. Each session begins with setting clear goals and outcomes, ensuring students feel aligned with the lesson’s direction.

My teaching style incorporates techniques like the Meisner Technique, an improvisation-based approach that fosters confidence, adaptability, and effective communication. This method enables students to engage deeply with the material, encouraging them to think critically and respond naturally in real-time scenarios.

Lessons are structured to be dynamic, mixing theory with hands-on practice, and I utilise my background in creative and corporate writing to make complex ideas accessible and engaging.

In addition to practical exercises, I incorporate reflective discussions, where students analyse their progress, strengths, and areas for growth. This helps them to internalise lessons and feel more confident in applying new skills independently. My background as an academic mentor at Kingston University also enables me to provide constructive feedback that supports both skill development and creative expression.

Each lesson is highly interactive, as I believe learning thrives in an environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and asking questions. I prioritise creating a positive, supportive space where students are encouraged to take creative risks, using exercises drawn from my experience in drama, creative writing, and quality improvement coaching. Together, we aim to build not only technical skills but also the confidence and adaptability necessary for real-world applications.
