My teaching style is highly interactive, designed to engage students and help them fully understand the material. Rather than simply delivering lectures, I encourage active participation and discussion throughout each session. I create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, ensuring they don’t hesitate to seek clarification on any challenging topics.
Each lesson is structured to allow ample opportunity for students to practice what they’ve learned. I use real-world examples and relevant exercises to demonstrate how key concepts apply, breaking down complex ideas into more manageable parts. This approach helps students to actively engage with the content, rather than passively absorbing information.
In addition to explaining material, I regularly ask students questions to gauge their understanding. I encourage them to work through problems with my guidance, offering hints or direction when needed, but always allowing them to take the lead in finding solutions. This builds critical thinking and problem-solving skills, essential for mastering GCSE and A-Level Maths, History and GCSE Science
I also use short, informal quizzes and practice tests to track progress. These are not intended to pressure students, but rather to highlight areas for improvement and reinforce their learning. By actively involving students in every part of the lesson and ensuring that they are consistently tested on their knowledge, I can adapt my teaching to meet their needs, ensuring they build both their confidence and their understanding as they progress.
