Because my experience is in working with young children, I like to place great emphasis on lesson plans that are marked by simplicity. Using visuals is also important, as it helps students relate words to objects, and enhances their learning ability. This is especially important when it comes to learning new vocabulary. Furthermore, considering my experience working as an early childhood educator, I like to break my lessons up into smaller sections, in this way it is easier to hold a child's attention and enhance their learning experience. I also like to encourage my students to set goals, no matter their age. Even if the goal is small (as is expected with young children) it helps to inspire confidence and creativity in learning.
