As a relatively young but experienced tutor in my lessons I hope to provide a balance between the effective and professional teaching that comes from my years of experience as a tutor with forming a meaningful connection that comes from my recent experience as a student doing my GCSEs. I know how it feels to be a student, the struggles you will face but most importantly how to overcome them.
My lessons are online but will be full of interactivity and opportunities to ask about how to get to an answer? Why a particular method works? Or any possible curiosity you might have about the topic and beyond and I will happily answer.
Lessons will follow a flexible structure that I will plan personalised to your needs and level of understanding but will typically include a short introduction, a tailored explanation of the topic followed by a worked example and finally allowing you to try it for yourself with my help whenever it is needed!
As a successful student achieving nine grade 9s and two grade 8s at GCSE and 3 A*s at A level I can provide much more than teaching you the content. The best ways to revise each subject, how to deal with exam pressure and staying focused and motivated. I hope to not just teach but educate all my students.
