I provide lessons that are personalised and organised, to help each student achieve the grade they hope for! Lessons usually last one hour, however, the duration of the lesson may be altered depending on the requirements of the student. I teach GCSE English Literature (and Language) and have personally achieved grade 9 (A*) in GCSE. I am also currently studying English Literature A-level, so all information and knowledge is modern and relevant. I can also teach 11+ and 7+ English. I hope to customise and personalise each lesson depending on the requirements of each student, to help them achieve the grade they deserve!
I am flexible with dates and timings, but prefer to teach on Friday evenings, Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings.
I can help with essay-style writing (such as helping with essay terminology, essay formatting and structure, how to embed quotations, how to effortlessly weave in context, etc), poetry and novel/text analysis, and reaching top bands by hitting the required assessment objectives.

For GCSE students, I will help dig out key quotations and help with further deep analysis. I will also help with essay writing and structuring, and ensuring that assessment objectives are met (such as finding key quotations and context!) to achieve the best marks/grades.

For 11+ and 7+ students, I can help with comprehensions and creative writing, by assisting students with correctly structured answers for comprehensions as well as how to locate answers within a given extract. I will also teach key techniques for creative writing, as well as excellent vocabulary to help students get into the schools they hope to achieve.
