My lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring a personalised learning experience that focuses on both understanding and practical skills. A typical session will begin with a quick recap of previous material to reinforce learning and address any gaps. This will be followed by a clear explanation of new topics, such as creative writing, reading comprehension, or exam techniques, depending on the student’s requirements.

Lessons will include practical exercises, such as analysing texts, structuring essays, or answering past exam questions. These activities are designed to help students build confidence, sharpen their skills, and apply their knowledge effectively. For example, we might explore how to identify key themes in a passage or develop persuasive writing skills using real-world examples.

I believe in interactive teaching, so students will have the opportunity to ask questions, participate in discussions, and share their thoughts on the material. Feedback will be a key part of every session, with detailed guidance on areas for improvement and tips for success.

To keep lessons engaging, I’ll use creative resources like flashcards, videos, or games to make learning enjoyable. By the end of each session, students will leave with a stronger grasp of the subject, improved exam confidence, and clear steps to continue progressing on their own. My ultimate goal is to help students achieve their academic potential in a supportive and motivating environment.
