I have never wanted to seem like a teacher but rather a revision buddy, someone who you can talk to about school as a whole and also topics outside of school. The main priority is to improve our grades but I have also helped many of my students with their CV's, personal statments, job interviews, or entrance interviews for schools. I have a close relationship with all of my students and they can and do message me at any time for help with their HW or something they are stuck on, I dont want to limit our time to our 1h lesson but rather to be available over the phone to help at any time.
Like this I become an older friend and somebody who genuienly enjoys revising with you and helping you prepare for the next important stages of your life! Whether it be University, College or a new job!
I am strict on assingments and do ask for respect, but I am very fluid and open to new topics and keep my lessons very informal. Where I see that respect or concentration is being lost, I am swift and will change the dynamic of the lesson to grab the attention and focus of my students again.
