In terms of what the lesson will look like, I tend to adapt to students depending on what works for them but most importantly, depending on what their level of French is. If I am dealing with students learning French at school for instance, I would start by looking at homework or upcoming tests/exams, then do some theory (so look at vocabulary, conjugation etc) and would end the lesson with a conversation in French to confront the student to real life conversations and actual situations. I would myself give ‘homework’ that I believe may be useful such as recommending watching a show in French or an easy podcast to understand for instance.
