My maths lessons are completely tailored to your needs and priorities, both in terms of times and content. My aim is purely to help you gain confidence in your abilities and reach whatever goals you may set. A typical lesson would involve identifying a topic or two you would like to focus on, experimenting which method of solution works best for you, working through questions together and finishing with questions for you to answer independently to consolidate. I am also more than happy to provide you with assistance in finding more question banks and materials for you to utilise when doing your own revision. As well as this, I am perfectly happy for you to bring these external questions to lessons that you are unsure of or did not understand for us to work through together.

I consider myself to be a highly motivated and disciplined individual so you can be confident that I will always have material prepared for your lessons (often directed by topics you identify) and can also help you to motivate yourself. I would happily aid you in creating timetables and revision schedules for you to stick by in order for your revision to be effective.

I have a strong academic background in Mathematics including: 9 in GCSE Maths, A in FSMQ, A* in A-Level Maths, A in A-Level Further Maths and silver and gold awards in Junior Kangaroo Challenges. My academic foundation, alongside my experience volunteering in primary schools has honed my ability to mentor others effectively.
