Hello there, I have been a teaching assistant for the last two years. Whilst I have enjoyed my time working I many different schools both primary and secondary, I also want to help children exceed outside of the classroom too. Wether that be through extra help with homework, going over something you didn't understand in lesson or going over something new entirely. I belive in having a different teaching method for every person because no two people are the same so why would they learn the same? I do try keeping my sessions fun and interactive as possible as I find that's the best way to learn rather than the traditional tutor "talking at you" methods. During my time teaching assisting I worked with nursery children doing the jolly phonics scheme and numbers allowing me to get the knowledge,foundation and experince needed for me to understand how they progress as they go through the rest of primary school life then later on through secondary to completing GCSEs. In addition to this I also worked on a 1-1 basis with many students in a rage of subjects who had learning and behavioural difficulties such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, ADD and many many more.
