My purpose for teaching is to help people learn not just a language but also the Italian culture and lifestyle.
To keep things real and useful, I base lesson content on the student's skill level and needs: conversation, negotiation, grammar, literature, art and technical subjects. My students are involved in a diverse range of industries and professions, from fashion to finance and engineering to entertainment.
A lesson is structured around a particular aspect of Italian grammar, vocabulary, usage and pronunciation at right level to match the student's knowledge. The last 15 minutes of each lesson are dedicated to conversational use of grammar and vocabulary that the students have just learned.
My lessons are fun and educative and, most important, my students at the end are happy.
I have more than 25 years teaching experience, at all age levels. My youngest student was 7 years old, my oldest is 90!
I taught at the Lycée International de Paris and that was a wonderful experience, because I was dealing with different cultures all over Europe. I also experienced five months stage in Italy teaching three kids from 8 to 12 years old. This experience helped me to broad my horizon and deal with people of any ages.
In m website I focus on Italian peculiarities, something probably far away from the touristic path, never less interesting and able to widen the knowledge of a person.
