For my lessons I will always refer to your exam boards specification to make sure we don’t miss out anything mentioned. I will also be using maths and physics tutor to find mind maps, flash cards and practise questions. Another fantastic resource is save my exams, this provides excellent explanations for difficult concepts and gives you exam tips. I am currently studying maths, chemistry, and biology at A level, I achieved 7’s, 8’s and 9’s in all my GCSE’s which has given me a great understanding of the sciences and how they are examined. Biology is a very specific subject with a lot of key words which makes is difficult to master, so I will do my best to make sure you understand the overall concepts which will allow you to remember definitions and functions much more efficiently. I will also give you revision techniques that are scientifically proven to enhance productivity and organisation; for example the pomodoro method. I am very enthusiastic and determined to give each student the best out of my lessons, and I am intent on making the most of the hourly sessions which means in our first lesson I will ask for a list of areas you would like to improve on and get right into it! For each lesson I will have made a plan on what to cover and the exam questions we will go through along with them mark schemes to make sure no time is wasted, and most importantly I will make sure you enjoy the lessons!
