Lawson in a nutshell

In my past years of teaching, I had the opportunity to teach both early learners (primary) and university students.
I prefer to test the understanding of the students. This gives me a general overview of the students knowledge and also tells me where to tackle my lessons from.
I also prefer to teach on the pace that profits the slow learner. I believe the fast learner is always a step ahead and hence needs less time to grasp the concept.
The slower learner however, needs more time and I prefer to give my all to that timing for the fast learner will not be disadvantaged but if the pace favours the fast learner, the slow learner will be disadvantaged.
My assignments both take home and in-house are meant to test students understanding after tuition. There is therefore no need for students to go using the web in pursuit of perfect solution. If you give perfect solutions, it will tell me you are good with the concept and I will proceed to others. If you give me solutions that shows you are lacking, I will perfectly take my time and give you further insight on the concept before proceeding.
In my realm of teaching, I love it to be interactive thus, I will not be the only one speaking, students, you will also speak not necessarily in answering questions; contributing by reading on the concept before class, hence you can grasp what is being taught, asking questions in areas you don’t understand, alerting me if I’m teaching too fast, and so on, makes the class interactive enough.
