I’ve been having bass lessons with Lawrence for nearly 2 years and I’m not stopping anytime soon!

Lawrence has been a great teacher so far, still enjoying lessons with him! As a complete beginner with no knowledge of other instruments to rely on, Lawrence has helped teach me fundamental theory as well as how to practically apply it, and correct technique to get rid of some bad habits I’ve picked up trying to teach myself. Lawrence always has a well planned lesson that builds on what we have done previously and makes all resources available online, but also can adapt the lesson if I have any requests, bring any material to the lessons etc. 5* teacher!!

I've been playing a while, mostly self-taugh and felt like i've hit a wall with my playing. Honestly, i've progressed more in 2 months than I have in 7 years since working with Lawrence. He knows it all, from Jazz to Metal, the whole spectrum. A genuinely lovely dude and INSANE bass player. You know what to do, book him in.

Lawrence is absolutely brilliant, he couldn’t be more encouraging and understanding of his students needs. He really gets that the learning process is a two way street, and has been fantastic at accommodating me and what I need to learn, definitely one of the best teachers in London.
