Lavia Crystal Dsouza

I studied Bachelor of Science in Three majors Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. The main goal of B.Sc. degree was to develop a deeper understanding of natural laws, inquiring about reasons and logics which govern through established methods of observation, modelling, experimentation and calculations. All this makes this degree an important weapon in my arsenal and opens a plethora of opportunities for further in research.
My program M.Sc. Organic Chemistry covered chemistry involving the scientific study of the structure, properties ,composition, reactions and preparation (By synthesis or other analysis) of carbon based compounds, hydrocarbons and their derivatives. My field of study had Medicinal Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry. Organometallic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and many aspects of material science. My course covered topics which includes catalysis, organometallic chemistry, chemistry of polyenes, chemo- regio and enantioselective synthesis, heterocyclic chemistry, fluoro- containing compounds and NMR. My program M.Sc.
