Welcome to the exciting world of music technology! Whether you are just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, I am here to help you achieve your musical dreams.

As a highly experienced teacher with a PGCE in Music and QTS, I have been teaching A level Music Tech for almost a decade. I have also held Programme Leader roles at Varndean College in Music Tech, Games Design, and ICT. My expertise in teaching composition, notation, sequencing, recording, mixing, and mastering spans across Key Stage 3, A level, and university level. I am also an educational partner with Acustica Audio and work with the University of Sussex.

My lessons are tailored to suit your individual needs and interests. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate, I will work with you to create music in Logic Pro that makes the most of plugins that emulate historical equipment. We can focus on Lo-fi Hip-Hop, or any genre that you prefer. For intermediates, we will dive deeper into mixing strategies and mastering music, and explore the foundations of sound in acoustic space, the analogue/electronic realm, and the digital realm. These are essential skills that will help you make informed decisions as a music producer.

My studio is acoustically sound treated, and I use a range of industry-standard software including Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Studio One, Ableton Live, and Reaper. I have also taught sound design as part of my games design course and have a small portfolio of work using Wwise Audio integration, Unity, and Unreal Engine 5.

My lessons are affordable, lasting around 1 hour and priced at £30. For those who would like a longer lesson, I offer 2-hour sessions for only £55. I can also do hour long callout sessions for £35.
