Laurie Auld

Hi- I'm Laurie, and I will soon be heading into my third year studying medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Before this, I went to school in Kent, where I received 11 grade 9s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A-Level, the latter including Maths and Further Maths. Outside of education, I love football and hiking.

I have been tutoring GCSE Maths online for nearly 4 years and have over 300 hours experience with 7 students of very different abilities. I am therefore well-placed to offer individualized help centred around your needs, whether that is a few hours perfecting the hardest topics, or more comprehensive help over a longer time period.

I continually strive to find great new resources to use in sessions and to recommend to students for extra work outside these. I am also keen to get my students doing practice papers as soon as possible, as I believe it offers the best preparation for the exam and is a great way to discover their strengths and weaknesses.

I currently use Zoom for all my sessions, but am happy to use other software if you prefer.
