I use an integrated methodology to assess your current level of development and provide a pathway to higher development. I have used this with absolute beginners through to professional musicians. I believe that a firm understanding of the foundations allows you to excel in all areas of music, whether that be playing, composing, or just having fun bashing the drums! I'm a really chill guy, but I have a very high standard for myself, and I hope to inspire you with similarly high standards. If your goal is to have fun drumming, I want you to to have the most fun possible! If you are an aspiring professional and want to perfect your groove, we will go into the scientific analysis of your groove to determine areas of competency and future development. I teach all styles of popular drumming from Rock to Pop, Jazz to Samba. I also provide Jazz Theory tuition for all instruments (e.g., one of my students is a harpist). I have a First Class Honours degree in Jazz from the Guildhall School of Music and a Grade 5 Music Theory certificate from ABRSM.
