I am very passionate about non-traditional learning and meeting each and every student at their level. In order to progress to the level which is expected at exam and / or degree levels it is important that you are able to work in a way which suits each student. Unfortunately the large classes of traditional schools can, oftentimes, make it difficult for them to cater to each unique need of their learners. One to one and small group tutoring sessions allow for a more organic and tailored approach to teacher/student communication and, more often than not, yields better results overall. I believe in a Student First approach to learning, working closely with each and every student in order to create a learning plan which works for them. Having tutored at all levels of learners and with experience working with children with ALN, I am confident in my ability to tailor lesson plans to suit a wide variety of learning styles and needs. This includes, but is not limited to, length and frequency of lessons for learners who want a more or less involved approach to teaching. I am available to work around any schedules, from early morning lessons to late evening sessions and am happy to deviate between subject if needed. Being happy and comfortable in your studies is paramount and so changing the approach to a subject will be accommodated and welcomed. Feedback from students will always be taken into account and moving/rearranging/restructuring lessons and lesson plans will never be an issue.
