I am very easy going, and live to have jokes with the students I work with, however I expect the work to be done to a high standard, I am more about quality not quantity, the less written the higher the work should be. At the end of each lesson there’s a debrief about what has been taught and what should be better, this is for both teachers and students, we can learn from each other. At the end of every school day, I like to make it fun by playing games such as guess who, eye spy, uno, etc… Fridays are fun days, therefore an hour or two is spent on lessons and the rest is games, talking about the weekend and the upcoming week, what lessons are going to consist of, because I believe children respect the lesson when they are told in advance, I don’t set homework unless absolutely necessary.
