These techniques such as visual, oral, written and association will be explored to help the student best comprehend and store the information in a way that isnt viable in a class of 30 plus.
4. Being a confidant. One of the most important parts of being a tutor is trust. That your student can tell you when they dont understand or are feeling anxious about a topic without fear of ridicule or embarrassment. I find it important to highlight that I have been in their shoes and that sharing their concerns over educational uncertainties can truly be the building blocks for academic success. Confidence is key.
