I use a variety of teaching methods including; PowerPoint presentations, exercises, videos, worksheets, listening comprehension tasks and demonstrations of how the content can be applied in everyday life.

An example of how I conduct my lessons is as followed;
I begin with a starter activity to assess the students’ existing knowledge on the topic and identify areas that require further attention. Then, I proceed to the main topic of the lesson, such as grammar or specific subjects. During the main teaching phase, I utilise PowerPoint presentations to deliver the content. Additionally, I incorporate worksheets and collaborative question-solving activities to reinforce the learning. Finally, i conclude the lesson with an activity that allows me to gauge the students’ comprehension and identify areas that need to be reviewed in subsequent lessons.

About me:
I pursued French at GCSE and A-Level, followed by a degree in French and Spanish at university, where I consistently achieved 2:1 and 1st class grades. As part of one of my university modules, I completed a 30-hour work placement teaching French in a secondary school classroom. I also have previous experience assisting with KS3 French lessons. During my degree, I spent a year abroad living in Paris and Barcelona, which provided me with further cultural awareness and helped improve my language skills. I successfully engaged in conversations with native speakers and developed confidence in the target languages.

In conclusion, my diverse teaching methods, academic achievements, practical experience, and cultural immersion have equipped me to effectively facilitate language learning and instill confidence in my students
