I have 4 years of teaching experience under my belt currently. That has included Business and Economics A level, Business level 3 BTEC qualifications, Business level 2 BTEC qualifications and Business GSCE.

I like to keep my lessons current, exam focused and with room for you to make mistakes but equal room to stretch and challenge your ability so you can get those top grades. I will make all of the content accessible to all students abilities, link it with real world examples you know and give you handy techniques to use for exams so you feel confident that you can succeed. I am adaptable and can change to suit your needs, most of my experience lies with Pearson and Edexcel but I am qualified and familiar with the content from other exam boards.

All of my lessons will include a variety of activities. I feel the best way for students to secure their knowledge is through retrieval practice, this can be done with quick do now activities or through regular quizzing to embed in your long term memory. Once you have a solid foundation of knowledge I find it is much easier to apply your knowledge using concrete examples so you have something to link to. For the critical skills needed for top grades such as analysis and evaluation I will provide you with worked examples, model answers and lots of varied practice to make sure you can reach your full potential. All of my teaching is backed up by the science of learning and has been proven very successful with previous cohorts of students.
