I will start with the basics from the subject that we are learning and to help the students feel more comfortable and immersed, I will use different techniques to make the subject more fun and exciting. This could be through strange historical facts, to making up songs and singing or to watching a fun video from Horrible histories! This was how my history teacher got me interested in the subject when I was a kid and I'd love to be able to have that same influence. It has worked on my nieces and nephews and I'm sure it could have the same impact to my own students. If able, I could also try to arrange trips and other fun and interesting things to do so that they could get the full experience. I will use powerpoint presentations with the providing of pictures as well as interesting facts that they will need to know. I have also thought about the idea of creating and acting out little plays, putting on voices and other fun elements whilst mixing in the actual facts to help the students learn them. Students could be split into two groups and then allowed to write their own scripts together and decide their roles as this will also encourage group work and help everyone get involved whilst they are also having fun. This is also something that could be done both remotely and in person as all of these are capable of being done in a hybrid teaching manner.
