I am more than happy to tailor my lessons to the need of the individual student to ensure the most progress possible. I understand that every child is unique and will plan individual lessons to ensure that the needs of each child are met effectively.
We will cover exam technique to maximise marks gained and complete practice questions with in depth marking and analysis to improve upon in follow up lessons. Research shows that the process of providing students with accurate and useful feedback as well as time to act upon that feedback is the most efficient way to accelerate progress.
I am happy to analyse a series of exam style questions to ensure the lessons for each student are focused upon their specific needs.
I have five years of experience teaching both key stage three and key stage four English and dance and have worked with students who are extremely proficient as well as those who need a strong amount of support to achieve their goals. I have a plethora of experience challenging and stretching students to achieve their goals when their goals are extremely ambitious as well as putting scaffolding in place to build the confidence of students who may find lessons more challenging. Due to my experience, I also have a deep understanding of supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) as well as students who have English as a second language (ESL).
