Most of all, I want to be a relatable figure for any current or future German student. I will mostly use simple exercises, repetition and memorisation techniques, explanations and examples of grammar application, any tips and tricks I find useful when studying German, among many other ways of learning and practicing, to solidify the foundation of the language in my student’s minds. A deep understanding of how language works as a whole helped me hugely in my endeavour of learning German; a big part of my tutoring will be to implant all of the fundamentals into my lessons, that will be useful to my students in German tests and exams they have in school. The German teachers I’ve had through my years of learning have been some of the best mentors and role models for learning I’ve ever met, and I’d love to be able to emulate that for my potential students. I believe that a fun, simple, but well thought-out approach to learning is best, as it is the easiest to be absorbed, and you even look forward to doing it! I am new to tutoring, but I am so passionate about teaching the younger generation and making them excited to learn. I have lots of activities and resources available to me from my time studying German, that I will be easily able to adapt to any skill level. I would plan on having my students take a preliminary test before our lessons begin, so I can identify their skill level, and possible deficits in knowledge that I can focus on more with them. I hope my enthusiastic, personalised approach to learning excites you! Please do not hesitate to get in touch
