As I view each child holistically, I have maintained positive relationships by communicating positively with carers in my teaching career and I am looking to develop this skill further in this setting. As a teacher, I pride myself on having core values, and these influence my daily practice. I believe that trust, integrity, and respect are values that I practice and instantly implement into any learning environment.
I have utilised a plethora of resources for the learning journeys for all stages, and to meet the specific needs of individual pupils. This includes digital, concrete, and teacher-made materials. I believe that the most valuable resource in the learning environment is the person or the people who are leading the learning. This includes me and the children. I have worked hard with all people within schools to develop strong relationships and made sure that the people are at the centre of my resource toolkit.
I have developed an extremely strong and positive relationship with all the pupils in my class. The children enjoy coming to school and look to me for support and guidance for any obstacles they come across. I have an extremely welcoming presence and my caring and energetic nature is of excellent quality for all classes. Parents have said the children will comment on their enjoyment in my class and are excited by the lessons I produce. I have daily discussions about interests and research them to make sure I always show the children that they are listened to and cared for.
