My experience with students from 6 to 45 years old showed me that every student is different so I adapt my sessions to their personal needs and goals.
I usually let the student explain what they want from the lessons and their personal interests (especially with children). From there, I will develop the contents of the classes. I (usually) start with a bit of informal conversation and review of what we saw in the previous session, and then I explain grammar with examples. I use songs to work on reading, listening and grammar skills.
Depending on the level of the student, I will also encourage them to read certain books to improve their vocabulary and grammar skills.
I always hold the sessions completely in Spanish, so we practice speaking from minute one. I can explain in English when the student needs it.
However, who matters is you, so we can always adapt the lessons to what you want.

TAMBIÉN DOY CLASES ONLINE

Como decía, mi vasta experiencia con alumnas y alumnos de entre 6 a 45 años me ha mostrado que es imprescindible adaptar las clases de inglés a sus necesidades y objetivos.
Normalmente, primero la alumna/o me explica qué necesita y desde ese punto de partida, diseño las clases de forma que conecten con sus intereses personales, especialmente en el caso de niñas/os. Habitualmente comienzo las clases con un poco de conversación informal y resolución de las dudas de la alumna/o, y continúo con gramática. Me gusta utilizar canciones para trabajar lectura, escucha y gramática.
Siempre conduzco las sesiones en español, de manera que podemos practical el habla. Puedo explicar lo que no se entienda en inglés siempre que la/el estudiante lo necesite.
Pero, lo dicho: quien importa eres tu y adaptaré las lecciones a lo que tú necesites.
