Born in the Dominican Republic, I received my education in a bilingual school from age 6. After years of studying medicine, I changed career paths to psychology because I realized my passion for helping others was more focused on the emotional side of things than the physical one. I have no regrets. I completed my degree and went to Vienna, Austria, to pursue my master's in Clinical Psychology and Public Mental Health. My love for an integrative approach to psychology was strengthened.
Teaching has been a part of my life since high school. My career has allowed me to polish those skills through university courses and professional jobs. I have worked as a tutor in university courses at the undergraduate level as well as outside of university. I have worked for 2 years in school settings, specifically as a teacher assistant for kindergarten and a Student Success teacher, where I provided academic and psychological individualized support for students in grades 2nd - 6th.
Let's get to know each other and identify what works best for you to expand your knowledge. From mnemonics, chunking, or visualization tactics to spaced repetition and a deep understanding of psychology, you will learn and excel in your exams. Additionally, I am always eager to explore new, evidence-based teaching methods to further enhance the learning experience for my students.
