Putting the learners at the centre of the learning experience and helping them to reach their full potential, my lessons are engaging, creative and immersive. You will be actively learning and develop learning and reflection strategies so that, whatever your age, level, and goals, you can become a strong, confident and autonomous learner.
You will not be learning grammar rules and structure by rote, but instead guided towards grasping and using the language to access content you need and express yourself clearly, fluently and with confidence and style.
I have 23 years' experience teaching learners of all ages, levels and needs, from many different countries. I have learned so much in that time and I'm still excited each time I'm presented with a new opportunity to help someone learn and grow.
I want my learners to be creative thinkers, and to so I need to be creative in my approach to teaching. Your lesson will be your lesson - tailored just for you, and your input and feedback is important.
You will work hard but my aim is to make that work enjoyable, and for you to see your progress from the first lesson onwards. There won't be any tests or grammar worksheets - all activities and assessment will be authentic and based around real-world speaking, listening, reading and writing tasks, about topics that you are either knowledgeable about or interested in.
