I have been having Spanish 1-1 lessons with Laura for a number of years. I would totally recommend her for anyone who wants to learn Spanish and has an interest in Hispanic culture and language beyond 'just' learning the language. Her knowledge of linguistics, literature, music and the arts in general and indeed many other things is immense and makes for stimulating lessons that stretch one's vocabulary and speaking skills. She also provides explanations and take-away guides to aspects of Spanish grammar and vocabulary that are models of clarity. I cannot imagine anyone not gaining an enormous amount from her lessons, and it is worth mentioning that her rates are very competitive in terms of good on-line teaching.

Laura is an excellent, fun, and motivational teacher. She has developed all her own material to help you advance your skills further than you would have imagined. Laura's classes are always structured around some core principals - reading, writing, listening and talking. I studied for years before I met Laura and couldn't do any of the core principals! Now I can read, write, and, importantly understand and speak Spanish to a really good level. Highly recommend.

I've been taking lessons with Laura for a number of years with the aim to improve my spoken (Argentinian) Spanish while also continuing to build on my understanding of grammar fundamentals and vocabulary. Laura's lessons are always tailored to my interests as well as my learning needs and she is great at pivoting mid-lesson if I have a question or a topic appears that is worth covering there and then. This flexible approach and her efforts at making personalised lessons means that I am kept on my toes but that I come away from each lesson feeling that I have had a stimulating conversation as well as lots of language pointers. I would highly recommend contacting Laura if you are looking for a bespoke learning experience with an absolute expert in the subject area.

I have been with her for 10 months now, and my Spanish has improved so much in such a short time, I feel. She's extremely professional and educated about languages, the history, and context in (English, Spanish, German etc.,) and she seems to know answers to any problem - and it's always clear and understandable :) She debunks improper myths about the Spanish language, and explains how to understand the structure + grammar in an easy way. I originally thought it was going to be hard, but Laura made it clear, simple and understanding in every lesson so far, so Grammer is quite easy and I can utilize Spanish quite well - But in the end, I have to practice because it's down to me in the end as always. Honestly, the lessons are reasonably priced, because there are other teachers who don't know how to teach well and charge more; it's totally worth going with her :) Plus, she's fun, conversational and will help relentlessly to cater for your situation and level of Spanish
