In my lessons, I focus on creating an engaging and inclusive environment that empowers students to think critically and independently. I use a Socratic approach, encouraging students to question, analyze, and connect new ideas with their prior knowledge. This method fosters both confidence and problem-solving skills, equipping students to face real-life challenges. I also love using peer teaching, where students explain concepts to their classmates, which reinforces their own understanding and boosts self-confidence.

My experience in British international schools across Qatar, Shanghai, Italy, and Prague has allowed me to teach children from diverse cultural backgrounds. I always strive to tailor lessons to meet individual needs, particularly for bilingual or EAL students, by using visual, interactive resources and differentiated tasks. Positive reinforcement is key in my behaviour management approach, where I encourage children to take ownership of their learning and behaviour in a supportive atmosphere.

In my lessons, students feel safe, respected, and inspired to explore new ideas. Whether teaching online or in the classroom, I ensure my lessons are dynamic, fun, and filled with opportunities for active participation. With my background in yoga and mindfulness, I also integrate moments for reflection and creativity, helping students stay focused and engaged throughout the learning process.
