I have a relaxed, conversational style and am receptive to adapting my approach according to the student's needs.
I have experience training and coaching adults in the workplace, and experience of supervising and educating children in informal settings.
Literacy is a passion of mine and I help people improve their literacy through speaking, reading and writing tasks on topics that interest them.
I am also able to provide assistance with using those literacy skills when working towards qualifications.
I have an approachable demeanour and my sessions are explorative and non-judgemental. The focus is on building skills through engaging with the English language in a meaningful way. That means reading, writing, speaking and listening on topics that you enjoy.
I am also able to teach about grammatical rules and literary techniques if this is an area of learning that you wish to focus on.
