I am passionate about the subjects I teach, whether that be standing on a table to teach the balcony scene of Romeo and Juliet or “nerding out” over how the placement of a comma can change the whole meaning of a sentence.
I have been teaching for seven years and I am just as excited to teach others how to master, and appreciate, the English language and its literature now as when I first started. I’ve just improved my pedagogical skills along the way!
Having been in charge of teaching other teachers how to differentiate in my previous school, I understand that lessons need to be personalised to the individual. I will have an open conversation during our first lesson about how you best learn and what your goals are. Then, I will plan a programme that will best help you achieve these.
