Bonjour! Hello! I have been a childcare worker for 3 years in London. After graduating with honours from the French/international literary baccalaureate, I went on to do two years of higher education. It was during my studies that I started tutoring in French and English and helped the children I looked after with their homework. Today, I teach all types of people and students of all levels (primary, secondary, high school, adults). I work with all types of needs and objectives, as vast and different as they are! From those who have more or less difficulty in the subject, to those who aim to increase their confidence when speaking or writing, to those who have more general concerns about academic performance.
As far as the teaching method is concerned, the lessons take place in the following way: first we revise the material, we work together on the points that have not been understood and then we do exercises (of increasing difficulty). The aim is to strengthen the student's self-esteem and knowledge in a good atmosphere and at his or her own pace! In general, I ask the students a few questions at the beginning of each lesson, which allows me to know what has been retained and what has been forgotten/misunderstood.
Finally, I attach great importance to the human aspect, which is why I communicate and exchange a lot with the students at the end of the course, and outside the course if necessary.
