Laura Crowley

I aim to deliver an engaging and structured learning experience that caters to your needs and learning goals. My French lessons are designed to give you a strong foundation in the language. I will always start with a discussion to assess what you want to gain from our tutoring sessions and the areas you feel need attention.

As we progress, I will introduce more complex structures and concepts that build on the foundational knowledge we have built together. These include reading, writing, speaking and listening exercises, alongside interactive activities to improve your fluency and comprehension skills.

I myself have studied French from a young age, with A*s in both GCSE and A-level, my love for the language meant I went on to study French and business management at the University of Manchester. From September I will continue my university studies from Lyon for my year abroad where I will immerse myself into French culture and enjoy a more flexible style of University teaching.

I gained invaluable experience during my time teaching in a school in Costa Rica in 2020 and continue to build on this as a peer mentor to younger students in Manchester and as a volunteer for a local family charity.

Most importantly, my tutoring approach is flexible and customized to cater to your needs and learning style. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced French learner, I can adapt my teaching style to meet your unique needs.
