I scored 96% in English in my A-level studies. I studied in Central board of education of India. I gave private English lessons to students who couldn't go to school in COVID lockdown times. In September 2020 I thought of having a training from professional IELTS (International English Language Testing System) trainers for 1 Month. I then again started tutoring students. In March 2021 I gave IELTS test and scored overall 7.5 bands in it. I have a CEFR level of C1 in English (advanced but not native as I am Indian) I again started my part time tutoring job. So, I have an experience of 2 years in this field.
I like to give friendly lessons. I don't want to put pressure on students as it's not necessary to be perfect at a language which is not ours but came from outside.
I now study in a country (United Kingdom) where all speak and write English, but it is not hard for me to make friends here, but I see a lot of international students facing this difficulty who are unable to converse and understand what the lecturer/professor teach.
It is not important to be number 1 all the time. The students who cannot study in groups with other students can approach me personally and I will arrange solo classes for them by making time.
I was an introvert and shy person, so I definitely understand these little things.
Remember! Learning always involves lots of failures! So, keep going on!
