I teach maths to students ages 12-16, I prefer getting to know the child and understanding who they are because it gives me a better chance to help teach and get my student to engage in learning, I focus on their weaknesses and once every week I do a test using all the topics they’ve learnt, to give me another insight on what to work on for the upcoming week. I prefer working with the parents to get reports from the school about the child’s progress and performance, and any upcoming assessments.
