I have had an interest in Law since my teenage years as I have always been fascinated by how the Law encompasses both History and Politics. After completing both my undergraduate degree and LPC, I have decided to start tutoring Law to pass on my enthusiasm and experience to other students.
During sessions I aim to get the student to understand any relevant legal concept, act or case by providing them with examples. I also allow the student the opportunity to put the concept into practice both in the session and with homework assignments.
My students have varied in age from key stage 1 to university. I ensure I adapt the session to the age of the student and their personal learning requirements. I ensure that I build a strong rapport with my student from the start to ensure they feel comfortable asking any questions they have.
In this way, lessons with me will depend on the learning style of the student. For example we can examine a past essay from the student, examine a concept or undertake revision for examinations. Furthermore, I also ensure I include interactive elements within the session such as a quiz at the end of the session.
I obtained an 2:1 undergraduate qualification in Law from the University of Birmingham. I also obtained a distinction in the LPC and a Master’s in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law. My qualifications alongside my 3 years tutoring experience ensure that I can teach Law from GCSE, undergraduate to LPC level.
