Hello, thanks for taking the time to read my profile! I am a 23 year old Master's student with 4 years of tutoring experience, and 1 year of teaching at a school. I have privately tutored children of all ages, abilities, and subjects, ranging from 12-18 years old. I specialise in Science, and like to split my lessons into 2 halves. In the first half I teach the content that the student has pre-requested, or I have decided based on their curriculum, and the second half focuses on exam practice. In this half, I present the student with exam questions that they attempt to work out in real time, and we then go over the correct exam techniques for the questions they didn't get right. However, I am flexible to changing this approach, if the student in question struggles more with learning content than exam practice, or vice versa. I tend to share my screen and have diagrams and written notes (but mainly visual aids). Overall my lessons have proved effective in the past for raising student's grades, and I enjoy lessons to be as interactive as possible.
