Hi there!

I'm Lara and I come from the south-east of England. I speak English with received pronunciation, and non native English speakers generally find me easy to understand! I am enthusiastic that no one should feel afraid to speak English, even if they have not had much chance to practise speaking with other anglophones.

I am very patient and encouraging towards all English learners. Lessons with me would be entirely tailored to you, whether you are looking for conversational practise, preparing for a specific occasion or role that requires you to speak English, or needing support with grammatical accuracy and a high level of fluency. I have a wide range of interests, including music, sports, travel and literature and would be happy to talk about any of these things with you. I am open-minded, and would also love to hear you tell me about yourself in English, and perhaps even learn a few phrases in your native language!

I have experience not only in helping my friends from across the world to improve their English, but also in flute tuition and coaching in many sports. I look forward to helping you gain confidence with the English language.
