For beginning class, I would set up a timetable for students to learn the alphabet of Chinese, and give basic knowledge about the combinations of alphabet. Based on the national’s textbook, I will come up with a specific textbook that gives you all a broader thinking of the alphabet stuff.
Or I am also considering about intermediate class that contains more concept of Chinese( speaking, writing, listening, and reading) After learning this phase of class, you will have a better understanding of how Chinese is used in daily life, and how to use Chinese language rather in formal or proper way.
I know Chinese is quite hard to learn, but with my teaching style, I believe you all will be enjoying my class that contains lots of activities besides the major class. (Storytelling, culture of Chinese, idea sharing,etc)
The last session I’d like to set up is the Chinese corner, where all of you can speak Chinese with me for enhancing your oral ability of Chinese. During this period, there is an unnecessary section that use social media to bring all of you together, each week will come up with one topic, and this session will run once a week. Here you are all feel free to speak Chinese without worrying to be judged, we share love and respect to all of you, that’s what makes the Chinese corner to have continuation as a long period session.
