The format of lessons is flexible depending on the student needs. Many students preparing for exams prefer a 50/50 mix of content and exam practise, while sometimes students want to run through an exam paper and focus on exam technique. I prefer students to tell me what they want to do in lessons in advance, in order to give me time to plan, and I aim to make the lessons as interactive as possible, sometimes doing quizzes, and with students using the whiteboard to answer questions. I encourage students to talk to me either verbally or through the chatbox, although I do have some students who for various reasons prefer a less interactive option.
