With a background in both hands-on teaching and academic studies in curating, I am eager to support your students in ways that foster creativity, critical thinking, and independence.
As a teaching assistant, I found immense joy in creating hands-on activities that allowed students to actively engage with content rather than passively absorb it. This approach of facilitating learning rather than dictating it was reinforced during my studies in curating, where I explored cutting-edge pedagogical models and radical, alternative teaching methods—particularly in the arts and humanities. I took a specialized module in education that expanded my understanding of how innovative learning environments can empower students to think critically, challenge conventional wisdom, and develop their unique voices.
Through my roles as a teaching assistant and private tutor, I have learned how to build strong relationships with students, making them feel supported and confident while navigating their academic journeys. I adapt lessons to fit each student's needs, creating an environment where they feel encouraged to take risks and explore ideas. My goal is always to help students not only achieve academic success but also to develop a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
