I like to work remotely with all secondary school year groups, ranging between 11-16 year olds, tailoring work to suit their individual needs, as well as explaining concepts and providing exam-style exercises to prepare the students for their academic exams. If it's something specific that the student would like to cover, I prepare material on the topic, going through the concept together, asking questions about things that may be confusing. After that, I like to end the lesson with an exam-style exercise on the topic we covered in the session. This helps me to keep a record and track progress of the student's ability from lesson to lesson. I draw on my own experience of studying languages to help inform the lessons, giving them a personalised learning experience from someone who constantly applies the subject to real-life scenarios.
