I am a university student with good GCSE grades. I have previously tutored some children who have preparing for SATS, providing support by practising past papers and focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of each individual.
I will provide one-on-one sessions with the student, breaking down each topic to help them understand and asking them questions throughout to see if they are retaining the information. I will also encourage students to ask questions if they are unsure about anything.
Many interactive sessions will also be provided such as quizzes as doing something fun can also help to retain information.
As a student myself, I understand that all students learn differently so I can observe their preferences during the sessions and will will offer a variety of different teaching methods within each session to cater to different learning styles.
